Part of our volunteer summer on behalf of the Shipman Youth Center we were asked to be on trash collection duty for community service from 11-7 at the Rugby Fields in Lake Placid for the Can Am Rugby Competition on July 29th. It was a nice gorgeous hot day and we collected a ton of bottles and cans and trash off of the fields. Here is a picture of the gang from the Youth Center

The 12th Annual ILBBQF was a bit less attended than we would have hoped due to some incredibly inclement weather for most of the weekend, but amazingly we still made around $8500.00 in profit from the raffle tickets that will help offset some of the operating costs for the Youth Center. The competition was enjoyable and the eats were fantastic!!! We had a huge tent up in case of inclement weather where you could enjoy your delicious food from our vendors and listen to our liv
